Trees across Arvada is a program of the Colorado Tree Coalition, a nonprofit statewide organization dedicated to preserving, renewing, and enhancing Colorado's Community of Forests

Trees Across Arvada offers Arvada residents the opportuinity to purchase low cost shade trees. The trees, mostly low to moderately low water demand varities, are 8-12 feet tall and 1-1 1/4 inches in diameter. Feel free to browse the trees we have available for purchase.

Who are the Scharfenbergs?

Jim and Jean Scharfenberg are active Arvada volunteers and gardeners. After years of helping with the “Denver Digs Trees” program, the Scharfenbergs founded “Trees Across Arvada,” through the Colorado Tree Coalition, in 2004. The program is a volunteer project with the goal of getting more low-water use, drought tolerant trees into the Arvada landscape. The Scharfenbergs are greatly appreciative of the help and support the City of Arvada in making the program a success.
