Who are we?

Trees Across Arvada offers Arvada residents the opportuinity to purchase low cost shade trees. The trees, mostly low to moderately low water demand varities, are 8-12 feet tall and 1-1 1/4 inches in diameter. Feel free to browse the trees we have available for purchase.

 

Why trees?

Trees help us by:

-Providing shade
-Cleaning the air of pollution
-Creating air for us to breathe
-Improving the quality of life

1 Summer Splendor Tatarian Maple $30

 

The tree list for 2010 includes trees with color in the summer and fall, flowers in the spring and summer, and some old reliable favorites.  The 12 choices include small and large trees, some bare root, and some balled and burlaped.

P.S. These trees are NOT guaranteed because the cost is so low.  With similar programs, we had a 90-95% survival rate the first year and about 75% after four years.

 Dates to Remember:
December 1, 2009 – Tree Order Due
January 8, 2010 – ½ Payment Due
April 1, 2010 – Final Payment Due
Mid-April, 2010 – Tree Pickup
